Using your Christopher Knight Home® Berwick Fire Pit is super easy. First, place it in a safe, open outdoor area away from anything flammable. Since it's wood - burning, you'll need to gather some dry firewood. Simply stack the wood inside the pit. You can use a fire starter or some newspaper to get the fire going. Remember to use the spark screen to keep sparks from flying out, and the poker to adjust the wood as needed. When it comes to safety, always keep a fire extinguisher or a bucket of water nearby. Never leave the fire unattended, and make sure the fire is completely out before you go inside. For maintenance, after the fire has cooled, remove any ashes and debris from the pit. You can use a soft brush to clean the lightweight concrete surface. If it gets dirty, you can gently wash it with mild soap and water. This will keep your fire pit looking great and working well for years to come.
