Using your fire pit is easy. First, if you're using it with natural gas, make sure you've bought and installed the conversion kit properly. Place the fire pit in a flat, open outdoor area away from any flammable things. For a wood fire, put some fire - starting materials in the stainless - steel burning area and light them. Once the fire is going, add more wood as needed. If you're using gas, just turn on the gas supply and ignite it according to the kit's instructions. As for maintenance, after each use, let the fire pit cool down completely. Then, clean out any ashes from the burning area. Check the exterior regularly for any signs of damage. Since it's rust - and heat - resistant, it can handle normal wear and tear, but if you notice any cracks or issues, get them fixed right away. And always keep it covered when not in use to protect it from the weather.
